Baptism is a symbol of the new life believers have in Christ. This is Asiel Hernandez’s public profession of faith in Jesus from her baptism on Sunday, April 21, 2024.
My whole life I’ve been going to a Christian church, but I didn’t take it seriously until I was about 6 years old. I got saved and accepted Jesus in my heart because he died on cross for my sins. Before that I believed in Christ, but I wasn’t cautious about my sins. Now that I have been saved and about to be baptized, I try my best to live for God and repent for all of my sins. I understand that it’s important to recognize what God has done for us and you can’t take that for granted.
John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, so that everyone who believes in him shall not Perish but have eternal life.” God is a gracious and forgives anyone for anything, he sacrificed his son for our sins, and protects us from evil . I’m grateful for being able to be baptized because I love Jesus and I believe in him.
